CONVERSATION IN FRENCH
RECAP IN ENGLISH AT 1h23mn30s
This wonderful conversation is with Emma, a friend I met through Iris. She's French, talented, beautiful and a hard worker woman. She's a high level dancer and we actually talk about this side of job.
And mostly, how to define yourself other than job? Who are you? What is the difference between a job and a passion? Why do people actually present themselves with what they do instead of who they are?
What drives Emma to dancing? What are the misconceptions of this art? What did she learn about herself through dancing? What is the biggest lesson she learnt? What's the best advice she received!
All of these questions will be answered in this 1h30 conversation.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In this Episode, I invited Cathy over to chat about her life. She's an actress from New Jersey and lately has decided to quit her daytime job to focus on her acting career - after 40.
She also is diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and she was kind enough to talk about this subject as it is misknown in the world.
During this chat, we talk about how her symptoms started, how people perceive her, how it didn't stop her to follow her dream and how this disease impacts her life.
She shares with us her best advice received and we actutally share the same 'unlearnt thing'...Check it out to find out! And share it with your peeps!

EPISODE IN ENGLISH -> GO TO 1h02mn40s for the FRENCH RECAP
This episode is with Christian, an actor from Manchester and we talk about first on how defining yourself with your job can be tricky. Cause as an actor, you have another 'real job' unless you're famous. And it's not true. There are a lot of actors that earn money from their acting without being famous.
We touched on a topic very important: how do you deal when people don't believe in you? And funny enough, he started his acting career later than the average people who want to be an actor from a young age.
So listen to that episode and share it with your world.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IN ENGLISH FIRST then go to 16mn30s for the FRENCH PART
I'm back after a few months off! And a lot has happened!
I froze my eggs! Yes! Let me repeat! I FROZE MY EGGS! For me, for my future self. Givin my self another option if or when I'm gonna need it.
In this episode I talk about the process but the feeling approach as there's already an episode with Melody about the whole process.
It was hard, there was no good parts about it. Except the fact it was free. Except the fact that the surgery went fine. Except the fact that I did i t for myself. So I guess yeah there were good parts.
Go talk to your Ob-Gyn to do a fertility test. Just to make sure you know where you at.
And if you can and want to, go do this fertility preservation. To give you more options in having a baby one day. Not a guarantee though. But an option!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An episode that I loved recording, editing, and listening!
Allie is a multi talented artist (actress, director, singer..) and in all the episode it's like she's boosting the audience, she's so inspiring.
We talk about her childhood, how being bullied didn't affect her confidence in herself, how having boundaries with people help connect more with them and is a mark of self-respect.
We dive into why she wanted to try all the sides of acting jobs such as writing, directing etc. How she picks a project, whether it's the character, and their journey or even the locations..
And she gives out some advice she gave and received such as: Trust your gut! And forgive yourself!
Share the episode with your friends!!

Share this episode with your entourage. It is important to talk about it. And to not be afraid about it.

What is it about?
This podcast was created with the idea that we can be friends for long and still have deep conversations, or on the contrary, never talk about intense topics. It's still friendship either way. But maybe, this will open more conversations, to think, rethink things..learn or even..unlearn.
We talk about arts, career, parenting, loss, life itself.
Come listen and let us know what you think.
Who are they?
For these first few episodes, I asked some of my dearest friends to be part of this journey. They said yes and I can't thank them enough.
Remotely, in person, they were present to talk about stuff that means a lot to them, to us.
To you, my guests, thank you.
Amy
